Going into the final UFC event of this year, fans will have an exciting bantamweight matchup at UFC Vegas 66 between Said Nurmagomedov and Saidyokub Kakhramonov.
Nurmagomedov (16-2) is on a three-fight win streak and will be hoping to add another victory to his resume. He bounced back from his loss to Raoni Barcelos with some incredible performances and is coming off a decision win over Douglas Silva de Andrade.
On the other hand, Kakhramonov (10-2) is also coming off a win and is currently on a two-fight win streak. This will be his third outing in the octagon. Since his debut, Kakhramonov has demonstrated an incredible skillset. Kakhramonov defeated Trevin Jones via submission and most recently beat Ronnie Lawrence.

Nurmagomedov vs Kakhramonov: Fight Breakdown
Said Nurmagomedov is a very explosive bantamweight fighter who uses an aggressive fighting style to pressure his opponents. He is 5-1 in the UFC and has some incredible finishes. Many people mistake Nurmagomedov for being related to Khabib Nurmagomeov but they just share a common name.

Said hails from Russia and has incredible grappling. What makes him interesting is his choice of going toe-to-toe with his opponents on his feet rather than relying on his wrestling. However, Kakhramonov is a tough challenge for him even though he is new to the octagon.

Meanwhile, Saidyokub Kakhramonov is 2-0 in the promotion and made his debut back in 2021. In his first fight against Jones, Kakhramonov displayed phenomenal fighting skills. He is very good on the mat and his standup is also good.
Kakhramonov has a huge gas tank to cover for his explosiveness inside the octagon. He has a solid base in grappling and uses fast combinations followed by strong takedowns to overwhelm his opponents. He kicked off his UFC career with a submission win and it is expected that this bout will be a grappling contest.

Going into the bout, Nurmagomedov will enjoy a slight reach advantage but they share the same height. This bout is a very tough matchup but is guaranteed to be a banger. Both of the fighters are very good at grappling and also incredibly tough.
The key to winning for Nurmagomedov will be to utilize his aggressive fighting style to overwhelm Kakhramonov. He will use his strong kicks to chop down his opponent’s legs before taking the fight to the mat. There is a chance that this bout will get stopped in the earlier rounds but fans can expect Nurmagomedov to outpoint Kakhramonov.
