Conor McGregor tops the Forbes list for the highest-earning athlete in the new rankings released by Forbes. The former dual champion, Notorious Conor McGregor tops the list with an annual earning of $180 million this year. McGregor is one of four athletes in the last year to make more than $100 million in the past year.
In a video from 2016, McGregor can be seen conversing with football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo where the Notorious talks about topping the Forbes list. He says how he intends on buying a jet for himself, and jokes about how he is in the ’30s in the Forbes’ list for highest-earning athletes.

Needless to say, the video has aged well with Conor McGregor becoming the first mixed martial artist to top the Forbes list for highest-earning athletes. In the process, McGregor went past sports figures like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi in the last year’s earnings.
