It’s common knowledge that former U.S President Donald Trump is a mixed martial arts fan and a close friend of UFC president Dana White. Ahead of what was the biggest event of the year, U.S president Dana White made an appearance at UFC 264: Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor 3.
While the live broadcast missed showing Donald Trump during the UFC 264, which Dana White considers a “major f*** up” from his broadcast team, several photos and videos of Trump entering the building and enjoying the fight show went viral on the internet. However, what caught the most attention was Donald Trump meeting former welterweight title challenger and BMF titleholder Jorge Masvidal.
“Dana here he is.” Trump can be seen saying as he looks towards Jorge Masvidal while entering the building. “Jorge, I swear to god, he was just talking about you,” White says in the video as Donald Trump and Jorge Masvidal share a hug. “That’s the champ, give him a lot of money,” Trump says as he leaves with Dana White in a candid moment for fight fans.
Earlier, Donald Trump became the first US president to come to a UFC event after he attended the hugely anticipated BMF title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz inside Madison Square Garden back at UFC 244.

Among a lot of celebrities who attended the highly anticipated UFC 264 in Las Vegas, was former President Donald Trump who is a huge mixed martial arts fan. Trump has shown his love for MMA on various occasions. A close friend of Dana White, it’s not surprising that Trump loves the sport of mixed martial arts, however, in the recent while, he has become more and more involved with the sport.

As for Jorge Masvidal, the Miami fighter is coming off a horrific KO loss against Kamaru Usman and will look to bounce back to the winning column in his next fight. While there are several options for him going forward in his UFC career, Masvidal currently remains without an opponent.
