5 Tallest Players in WNBA Including Brittney Griner and Margo Dydek

The Women’s National Basketball Association has attracted many amazing talents worldwide in female basketball. The league features some of the tallest ladies from  all over the world.

Height is a crucial factor when it comes to sports like basketball. Some WNBA players have made huge success solely due to the advantages of their tall heights.

Margo Dyrek, who played for Los Angeles Spark, was one of the tallest players in the history of the WNBA. She had a height of 7 feet 2 inches and was drafted first in the WNBA in 1998. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2011 due to a heart attack.

Bernadett Hatar, the Hungarian player, is 6 feet 10 inches and is one of the tallest player in the history of the WNBA. Hatar made her debut in 2021 and played 7 games before she got injured.

Brittney Griner, the 7 times NBA All-star, 8 times WNBA blocks leader, and 2 times WNBA scoring champion, has a tall height of 6 feet 9 inches and a weight of 93kg.

Liz Cambage, the 6 feet 9 inches player, plays for Las Vegas Aces. She was drafted second overall in 2011 by Tulsa Shock, which was his weirdest entry into the league.

Teaira McCowan, 6 feet 7 inches, was drafted the third overall pick by Indiana Fever in 2019. Since then, she had played for this team in her entire career, rewarding them with her strong play.

Kalani Brown also has the same height as Teaira. She has been drafted in four spots after McCowan.
