Despite his time away from the WWE ring, Dwayne Johnson still remains one of the greatest in the pro wrestling business, and fans are waiting for his in-ring return for years.
Dwayne Johnson had his last WWE match back at Wrestlemania 32 when he took on Eric Rowan and finished the match in record time.
But, for years fans have been fantasizing about a Wrestlemania clash between The Rock and his cousin Roman Reigns, who is arguably the biggest star in WWE at the moment.
Both The Rock and Roman Reigns have shown interest in this once-in-a-lifetime matchup. But, will this match ever take place?
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Roman Reigns addressed the possibility of facing The Rock. And Reigns has an exciting response for the WWE universe.
"A lot of synergy with everything that he does with the projects that he's guiding and has in mind. So yeah, I would say just based off that alone, it looks even better than it did last time we spoke."- Reigns said
Dwayne Johnson will certainly entertain a possible comeback at Wrestlemania. However, currently, his schedule looks extremely packed with his upcoming movie Black Adam.
But you never say never when it comes to WWE. So it won't be surprising if the fans witness the People's champ once again in the WWE arena.
