Despite Kyrie Irving’s trade to Dallas Mavericks by the Brooklyn Nets, there are still controversies among fans as they are debating what this means for the LA Lakers.

Even though Irving considers joining Luka Doncic and the Mavericks to be "ecstatic," many think the All-Star guard is still hoping to land in Los Angeles in the future.

The Brooklyn Nets governor Joe Tsai opposed the deal of Kyrie Irving to the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the Golden State Warriors Star Draymond Green called Joe the “billionaire petty” for refusing Kyrie’s trade to the Lakers.

Green spoke on Marc Stein’s report that claimed Tsai explicitly did not want Kyrie Irving to join the Lakers, rather he wanted him to join any other team except the Lakers.

As per Stein’s report, there was a “presumed objective” to send Kyrie Irving somewhere other than his preferred team, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Draymond Green said: “As far as the Nets go, I am told that they would not trade him to the Lakers. That is what I call billionaire petty. That is Joe Tsai saying: ‘Listen man. That’s where you want to go?”

He continued: “I don’t care if they offer the best deal or not. I can be petty too.’ Billionare petty is a different level of petty. Not very many people can compete with billionare petty.”

Green also said that the most intriguing aspect of the trade was that James gave an interview within 24 hours after Kyrie’s trade to the Mavericks, in which he suddenly expressed his “disappointment” about the failure of the deal.
