Charles Oliveira vs Conor McGregor has been teased for quite some time now. However, there has been no confirmation owing to McGregor's recovery.
Conor McGregor teased a fight with Charles Oliveria after the Brazilian's win over Dustin Poirier and while we wait for McGregor, Oliveira has also fought and beaten Justin Gaethje.

Moreover, he is set to fight for the vacant UFC lightweight championship against Islam Makhachev at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi.
Recently, McGregor's manager announced that the Notorious is targeting January 2023 as his return date.

And for Oliveira, it perfectly aligns with his calendar as he is ready to jump inside the Octagon in January after fight with Islam Makhachev in October.
Oliveira is quite confident he gets past Makhachev, and believes the win over the Dagestani fighter will finally get him the shot at McGregor.

Oliveira's team has already targeted Brazil as the venue, and has a word of advise for McGregor if he steps inside his home country.
"I'd advise him to take very good care with what words he uses, especially referring to me." Oliveira said in conversation with Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
