CM Punk Didn't Follow the Script and Now Tony Khan Reacts

CM Punk made headlines after he went off script in a heated call-out to Adam Page following his return to AEW from injury.

Punk called out Adam Hangman Page and reports suggest that this wasn't planned and AEW was not aware that Punk would do something like that.

Punk and Page faced each other at AEW Double or Nothing for the AEW World Title. Punk won the fight to become the Champion.

Moreover, there are reports that Punk is not happy with AEW, with multiple reports confirming his complaints with AEW.

Now, AEW CEO Tony Khan has reacted to CM Punk going off script and it seems like he is completely okay with the AEW Champion doing that.

Triple H has carved a legacy of his own, both as a pro-wrestler and as a WWE executive. Needless to say, Triple H will go down as one of the most influential figures in professional wrestling.

"Well, it's unresolved anger, I think, from the world title match at Double or Nothing, and we had not really tied up all of those issues."  Tony Khan said.

"CM Punk made one appearance to wrestle after Double or Nothing and then it was immediately after that, that he got injured and was forced to step away." He further added.

"So there was clearly some stuff that never got resolved at Double or Nothing." Khan said on CM Punk calling out Adam Hangman Page ahead of his fight against Jon Moxley.
