Latest reports have emerged regarding AEW's legal action against CM Punk following the backstage fight after the All Out Pay-per-view in September.

CM Punk was suspended by Tony Khan after he was involved in a controversial backstage fight against the AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.

The fight started after Punk went on a rant against the Elite during the All Out media scrum. Punk's friend Ace Steele was fired after he bit Kenny Omega during the fight.

Punk and The Elite were stripped out of their championships and were not seen on AEW TV since then. Recently there were rumors that Omega and the Bucks are returning to Dynamite soon.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the reason why AEW and Tony Khan are not publicly talking about the matter is to avoid potential legal action.

Wrestling Inc's Nick Hausman then told Meltzer that he understands that the AEW haven't taken any sort of legal action against CM Punk till now.

Meltzer later confirmed that there's no litigation from Punk's side against AEW now but he also said things could change in the future.

There are reports coming out that Punk won't be competing for AEW again and fans are now keeping an eye on whether the WWE will be interested in bringing their former WWE champion back.
