CM Punk Mocks WWE Over Venue Change for Roman Reigns' Return at Money in the Bank

Roman Reigns is currently on a hiatus and will miss the upcoming WWE premium live event, Hell in a Cell.

However, Reigns will make a quick return to be a part of WWE Money in the Bank, set to go down on July 2 later this year.

CM Punk takes a jibe at WWE

In light of WWE downgrading Money in the Bank venue from the 65,000-seater Allegiant Stadium to the 17,000-seater MGM Grand Garden, Punk couldn't help but remind the WWE Universe of a similar incident in the past.

Scribbled Underline

CM Punk mocked WWE for changing the venue of the upcoming event and reminded fans of WrestleMania VII.

WrestleMania VII, which took place in 1991 was another event that moved from a bigger stadium to a smaller venue.

At the time, WWE had said that there were risks of "bomb threats" and security concerns for the venue change.

CM Punk subtly hinted at the possibility that WWE could be struggling to fill seats for the 65,000-seater arena.

Is wwe hiding something?

It was later reported by several website that the main reason for the venue change for WrestleMania VII was the lack of ticket sales.

CM Punk shared the poster of WrestleMania VII on his Instagram, suggesting the same.
