Conor McGregor sent out his wishes to Jiri Prochazka ahead of his title fight against the Brazilian veteran Glover Teixeira.
Glover Teixeira took on Jiri Prochazka in the main event of UC 275 for the UFC's light-heavyweight championship.
Conor McGregor took to Twitter to extend his wishes to Jiri, who is also signed with the same management as the Notorious, Paradigm Sports.
"Good luck Jiri! This guy is ready, watch what he is entering the arena in! We are rooting for you at HQ! Bring home the bacon and the sizzle @jiri_bjp" McGregor tweeted.
McGregor proposed a new nickname for Jiri Prochazka, as he stated that should the Czech Republican fighter win, he should be called "“big f**king cheques”.
And that's what happened as Jiri Prochazka picked up a submission victory in the fifth round to emerge as the new UFC light-heavyweight champion of the world.
In what a slugfest in the UFC 275 main-event, Jiri got the better of Glover in the fifth round with a rear naked choke win to become the new UFC light-heavyweight champion.
