Controversial WWE Superstar Set to Return to RAW Amid Major Contract Dispute

Mustafa Ali was last seen at Crown Jewel 2021 where he lost to Mansoor in a fleeting match-up.

2 months later, the WWE superstar would request for his release.

Ali has had a very stop-start career in WWE, at one point being ear-marked for a WWE Championship program with Daniel Bryan.

And then falling so far from grace that WWE mashed up his return gimmick with Retribution's and then buried them both.

Despite being one of the best in-ring performers in the company, Ali has been given nothing meaningful to work with.

And the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has outright stated that he is happy to sit out his contract if it means he can go work elsewhere in the future. All that might change this week.

Fightful Select has reported that Mustafa Ali is slated to appear at tomorrow's Monday Night RAW.

If the report is correct, this will be Ali's first appearance on TV in 6 months.

While it must be noted that the backstage updates must always be taken with a grain of salt, if this is true, it might inject RAW with the jolt of energy it desperately needs.
