In his last fight, Jon Jones fought Dominick Reyes in a light heavyweight title fight in February 2020.
Though he has been preparing for his heavyweight debut ever since his last fight ring rust will be a big hurdle for the former light heavyweight champion.
After parting ways with his long-time coach, Jones is now training with Henry Cejudo, who also trains many top UFC fighters such as Zhang Weili, Jiri Prochazka, and Deiveson Figueiredo.
On the other hand, Miocic will be coming off a brutal KO loss to the heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou and he will be looking to earn a shot at the title.
This will be an interesting matchup between two of the most elite and accomplished fighters in UFC history
