The UFC star was arrested and charged with multiple driving offenses. McGregor faced a dangerous driving charge, that might cost him financially and six months of prison time.

McGregor’s representative Karen Kessler issued a statement to MMA Fighting on the recent arrest and said: “Mr. McGregor was driving to the gym when he was stopped by Gardai for alleged road traffic violations. He passed the drug and alcohol tests taken at the station.”

Conor McGregor has also faced legal trouble and lost his license for speeding back in 2018.

At the moment, the Irish Star is looking to make his comeback to the UFC octagon.

McGregor lost his last fight to Dustin Poirier and suffered a gruesome leg injury during the fight.

Since then, McGregor has certainly shocked the fans with his fast recovery. However, whether he will be able to successfully compete at the elite level is still a question that needs to be answered.
