Dustin Poirier Reveals His Real Weight When He Is Not Fighting

Dustin Poirier is a quite bulky for a lightweight fighter. The former UFC interim lightweight champion is widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.

With the power to knockout other fighters and a tenacity for slugfests, Poirier is probably one of the most exciting fighters in the history of the sport.

Earlier, there were reports that Dustin Poirier could make his Welterweight debut after the submission loss against Charles Oliveira back at UFC 269.

However, that it did not turn out to be the case and now Poirier has confirmed he would like to finish his career at the 155-pound division.

Poirier has earlier fought in the UFC's featherweight division. One wonders how much Poirier actually weighs to be able to oscillate between weight classes like that.

In a recent conversation with Phil Daru, Poirier revealed that the most he has touched wrt to his weight when he is not training is 182-183lbs.

Meaning, if Poirier wanted, at his natural weight class, he could bulk up easily to fight in the UFC's Middleweight division. While the welterweight division weight limit is quite natural to the former UFC title challenger.

Dustin Poirier is set to take Michael Chandler at UFC 281 this weekend inside Madison Square Garden, New York.
