WWE legend, Dwayne Johnson made his much anticipated DC debut with Black Adam, that also features the return of Superman.
With Henry Cavill coming to DC, fans were expecting Dwayne Johnson's movie to break box office records.
However, it was not able exceed the expectations as so far it has only managed to garner $319 million world wide.
Despite that, Black Adam also landed in controversy after its actor Pierce Brosnan showed support to Dalai Lama.
After Pierce Brosnan, who plays Doctor Fate in Black Adam, praised Dalai Lama the Chinese government reportedly banned the movie in China.
This will certainly affect Black Adam financially. However, this is not the first time when Chinese government has banned major movies.
Marvel movies such as Doctor Stranger 2, Sangh Chi and even Top Gun: Maverick were banned in China for various reasons.
There are also rumours of Marvel fans playing a major role in Dwayne Johnson's movie, Black Adam getting banned in China.
