Jake Paul wants to fight Conor McGregor in Ireland

Jake Paul opined that he will fight Conor McGregor in Ireland during the London press-conference of Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano.

The YouTuber turned professional boxer is currently busy promoting Taylor vs Serrano scheduled to take place on April 30 inside Madison Square Garden.

“I want to fight [Conor] McGregor, I will fight him in a boxing ring in Ireland.. This is partially how the journey [in boxing] started. I made up my mind that I was going to get a fight with McGregor and win it and that is what motivated me to jump into this boxing career.” Paul said.

Jake Paul has been calling out Conor McGregor for quite some time now.

Paul started his boxing journey in 2018, and is currently 5-0 in his professional career and shares win over the likes of former MMA champions Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.

It's interesting to note that Paul revealed McGregor played a huge role in motivating the YouTuber to pursue boxing.

Paul believes that he will fight Conor McGregor in Ireland before everything is said and done.

Conor McGregor has not fought inside the boxing ring ever since his TKO loss against Floyd Mayweather in the Money Fight.

Earlier, McGregor was linked to a potential boxing showdown against Manny Pacquiao. There were also talks of a boxing bout against Dustin Poirier.

The former two-weight division champion is currently recovering from an injury he suffered in his last fight, and is aiming a summer return to the UFC Octagon.
