John Cena started crying after hearing the crowd's cheerful welcome for him. He engaged in an entertaining promo battle with US Champion Theory, who challenged him to a title match at WrestleMania 39.

Cena refused Theory's challenge at first, but accepted it after the audience encouraged him to. He verbally attacked Austin and said that no one in the audience was interested in him or his battles.

Cena destroyed Theory at the promos. He said, “I would so much rather be bald than have them pipe in fake crowd noises for my matches because no one cares.”

Teddy Long recently talked about his thoughts about John Cena returning and accepting the WrestleMania 39 challenge from Austin Theory on this week's WWE RAW.

"We don't see John Cena every Monday night, so I'm unsure if he works full-time. Because of this, you need to prepare him for WrestleMania by building him back up" Teddy Long said.

According to veteran journalist Bill Apter, Austin had some terrific lines throughout the segment. He believes it will get nastier in the coming weeks despite John Cena overshadowing Austin.

"I think Austin Theory came back with some great lines of his own. We are gonna see Theory's interviews become more nasty, and the way to end this is to somehow have him beat John Cena."

The conflict will be developed over the coming weeks as WrestleMania approaches in less than a month, so fans should expect Cena to become a regular on WWE television.
