Kamaru Usman Not Sad After Fans troll Him For Getting Knocked Out

Kamaru Usman was a huge favorite to win against Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC 278 and rightfully so.

The Nigerian Nightmare has dominated the welterweight division for years now and he already had a win over Leon Edwards going into the rematch.

Kamaru Usman looked confident through out the fight week as he entered the octagon to face arguably the best striker in the division, Leon Edwards.

And after winning 3 out of the first 4 rounds, Usman suffered a knockout loss with one minute remaining in the round. And this started a meme fest among the UFC fans.

Kamaru Usman, who was aiming for a move to light heavyweight and to Hollywood ahead of UFC 278, recieved criticism from the fans after his first ever UFC loss.

However, the memes from the fans do not discourage the former UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman

 In a recent interview with TMZ, Usman stated that he has watched the fight multiple times now and it does not bother him a lot that he lost to Edwards.

Addressing the memes, Kamaru Usman said: "I am not down at all, It's almost like everyone is more meotional than I am. For me it's a good thing, that means people care people are invested".

Kamaru Usman also seemed to like the current meme fest going on after his KO loss and he said that he will be hungrier to prove the critics wrong on his comeback.
