Khamzat Chimaev will take on Nate Diaz at UFC 279 on September 10 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in a five round fight.

Ahead of the fight, many fight fans believe that Chimaev will run through Nate Diaz, including several MMA fighters.

Ahead of the fight, Chimaev's coach Andreas Michael shared his thoughts on Nate Diaz and what makes him a dangerous opponent.

“Nate Diaz has got the conditioning, he has got the conditioning to go like ten rounds. And he always keeps like a steady tempo, so he grinds you down after a while. And his boxing, of course, his boxing.” He said.

Chimaev's coach is not undermining Nate Diaz, and believes his cardio and his boxing could prove to be dangerous for Khamzat Chimaev.

In preparation for the same, Chimaev's coach has brought in Darren Till back to the camp, and will also seek help from 10-time grappling champion.
Moreover, Chimaev will be careful not to gas himself out with fans raising concerns over his cardio looking at the Gilbert Burns fight.
Nate Diaz does have the weapons to beat Khamzat Chimaev, but the Swedish fighter might prove to be too much for the Stockton Slugger if we look at the overall skill-set.
