Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams Bid Millions to Own Chelsea Football Team

A lot of sources have pointed out the involvement of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Tennis star Serena Williams in the latest Chelsea Bid.

Both these stars have agreed to invest about 10 million pounds ($13.1 million) each in a bid for Chelsea Football Club

Hamilton and Williams would be joining a bid led by former British Airways chairman Martin Broughton, which also includes Canada’s Rogers family, Centaurus Capital LP founder John Arnold, and Taiwan’s Tsai family.

Hamilton would be in the lead position to promote Chelsea’s diversity, equity and inclusion if the bid is successful

The Broughton consortium declined to comment when asked about the involvement of Hamilton and Williams in the official bid.

Chelsea FC was left in tatters after its owner Roman Abraham was sanctioned by the British Government.

It is reported that Roman enjoys close relations with the Russian President Vladimir Putin whose country has invaded Ukraine.
