CM Punk suffered a torn left triceps during his match against Jon Moxley in the main event of ‘All Out’ according to reports.

Punk underwent surgery earlier this week and according to Dave Meltzer, Punk’s doctor suggested the immediate surgery “to prevent any muscle atrophy”

According to rumours, the straight-edge superstar could miss upto 8 months of action and he has been forced to vacate the title.

Brush Stroke

This is the second major injury that Punk has suffered in the past 6 months as his earlier injury had also forced him to vacate the title and sit on the sidelines.

Punk was already in a lot of trouble following the recent backstage issues involving him and The Elite. Tony Khan on this week’s Dynamite announced that all four champions have vacated their titles.

Khan also announced a new tournament to crown the new AEW World Champion and the finals will take place on September 21st during the second annual “Dynamite Grand Slam” event.

Dave Meltzer also reported that a lot of people in AEW want Punk to be fired from the promotion after his comments towards Hangman Adam Page and The EVPs Omega and The Bucks.

All Elite Wrestling has not made an official announcement regarding the whole incident as it had the involvement of third parties.
