In 2007, Von Wafer was a part of Denver Nuggets, summer league team. He managed to score 42 points while coming off the bench. In first half he only had 6 points and by the end of 3rd he had a total of 23. However, he had one of the best 4th quarter in summer league, he went on to score 19 points on 6 of 9 shooting,
