Jonna Jedrzejczyk reveals the hardest puncher she has ever faced

Jonna Jedrzejczyk will go down as one of the greatest women mixed martial artist of all time.

The former strawweight champion has fought some of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. In a recent appearance on Punchin In podcast, she revealed the UFC fighter she thinks is the hardest puncher.

Having faced the likes of Rose Namajunas, and Zhang Weili, it was surprising when Joanna Jedrzejczyk chose Valerie Letourneau as the hardest puncher she has ever faced inside the Octagon.

Make a man of tin

I think Rose. The first one [fight with Namajunas], I don’t remember. I didn’t feel the power. I just went to sleep, but there were some things that happened before the fight. In the second fight, I felt she was hitting pretty hard, but you know who hit the hardest? Valerie Letourneau. She was the hardest puncher I have ever faced…so Valerie and then Rose.” Joanna said on the Podcast.

While she acknowledged Rose Namajunas' power inside the cage, Joanna called the former strawweight title challenger Valerie Letourneau the hardest puncher she has ever faced inside the cage.

Joanna shared the cage with Valerie  back in November of 2015 for the UFC's Strawweight Championship at UFC 193.

She picked up a unanimous decision victory in a successful defense of her strawweight title. The bout marked her second title defense.

Ranked second on Jonna Jedrzejczyk's list of hardest punchers, Rose Namajunas continues to be the only fighter in the UFC to hand a stoppage loss to JJ.

Rose Namajunas slept Jonna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217 to become the new strawweight champion of the world. Jonna failed to recapture the belt in the rematch, this time dropping a unanimous decision.

However, looking at the damage sustained during a fight, it's surprising Jonna Jedrzejczyk did not take Zhang Weili's name. Any thoughts?
