Paulo Costa Is Leaving UFC After the Robert Whittaker Fight

Former middleweight title contender Paulo costa indicates that he'll be leaving the UFC after his next fight

Costa tweeted, "My miserable contract with the UFC was up in a few short months. will expire in time. A new #boxer is coming to town!"

This also cleared that the Brazillian will pursue professional boxing after the end of his successful UFC career.

Costa is scheduled to fight the former champion, Robert Whittaker at UFC 284 next year in Perth, Australia.

Paulo Costa has an impressive MMA record of 14 wins and 2 losses. 11 out of those 14 wins came via knockout.

Paulo Costa contended for the UFC middleweight title once in September 2020 against champion Israel Adesanya where he was knocked out in the second round.

Apart from his knock-out skills, Paulo Costa has also been popular among fans for his skills to trash talk before a fight and getting into altercations.

He recently got into a  heated altercation at the UFC PI with rising welterweight star, Khamzat Chimaev. Fans had also to fight in the future.
