The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns opened up about the embarrassment that he had to go through while doing a promo battle with John Cena back in 2017.
Leading up to their much-anticipated one-on-one match at No Way Out 2017, The duo were sent out to have a war of words on an edition of Raw.
Reigns midway through the promo blanked and forgot his lines and that led to Cena embarrassing him by telling him that he should learn how to cut a promo if he wants to be a big star.
Talking on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast Roman admitted that the experience with Cena made him better and it was a really good learning experience for him.
Reigns since then have had a great improvement in his career as he became a solid talker on the mic, especially after introducing the Tribal Chief character.
Cena and Roman since the 2017 feud worked together during last year’s Summerslam as both put on a great show and Roman picked up the win to retain his title.
Cena has been working a part-time schedule in the WWE due to his commitments in Hollywood and was seen last on Raw during his 20th WWE anniversary in June 2022.
Reigns meanwhile is on a roll as The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and is yet to be pinned or submitted since 2019.
According to Xero news, both Goldberg and Brock Lesnar are pitched to be part of the upcoming Saudi Arabia show
