Rousey dropped her SmackDown championship to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank following a hard fought win over Natalya.
Liv Morgan, who won the MITB contract defeating the likes of Becky Lynch, Asuka, and others, successfully cashed-in the briefcase on the same night.
Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey will share the WWE ring at SummerSlam. The match will mark Morgan's first title defense.
It's an exciting match-up and one that invites a lot of of attention to the WWE SmackDown Championship.
Liv Morgan has huge momentum riding on her back, and it was evident from the crowd's reaction back when she lifted the briefcase and beat Rousey at MITB.
Meanwhile, Rousey has a lot to prove and her reputation to keep after dropping the gold against Liv. It goes without saying, she is losing her dominance.
It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious when both these stalwarts share the WWE ring at SummerSlam.
Or maybe we will see Charlotte Flair make her WWE return to spoil Ronda Rousey's title attempt. Only time will tell.
