Sami Zayn who is the latest addition to the bloodline was in hot water following a recent incident that unfolded on Raw.

The controversial incident happened during a match between Jey Uso and Sami's long-time friend Kevin Owens.

Sami who was ringside, refused to hit his fellow Canadian with a chair and this caused a distraction which helped Owens secure the win. This raised questions about Sami’s loyalty to the bloodline.

Sami then took to Twitter on Wednesday to explain his actions from last week's Monday night Raw.

Sami tweeted: " To clarify, I didn’t hit Kevin Owens because I felt the ref could see me in his periphery and I didn’t want to cause Jey Uso to lose by DQ "

He also said that he has explained this to The Bloodline and the issue has been resolved and Friday’s championship celebration will proceed as planned.

There are rumours among the fanbase that Owens and Zayn will reunite to face the Usos when the bloodline eventually turns on Zayn.

All eyes are now on Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre as they square off on Saturday in Cardiff, Wales for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
