Sasha Banks played an integral part in WWE's women's revolution. The former Women's Champion is one of the most successful female superstars in the WWE thanks to her achievements inside the ring.

While Banks' success in the WWE is known to fans, many are unaware of what her past was before signing with the Stamford-based promotion in 2012.

Banks has done several ordinary jobs before making it big in the WWE. She used to work in hotel room service before signing a WWE developmental deal.

She revealed that she worked at a hotel in Boston Massachusetts where her mother was an accountant in an old interview with Rolling Stone.

"I used to work at a hotel. I was the order-taker for room service. My mom worked at the hotel as an accountant," she said. (h/t: Sportskeeda)

Banks in the same interview revealed that she once visited her former co-workers in 2015 before an episode of Raw and some of them were in tears after seeing her.

Despite being one of WWE's biggest stars, Banks was let go by the company after she walked out of a show alongside her tag team partner Naomi due to creative differences last year.

Banks currently wrestles under the name Mercedes Mone for NJPW. She recently won the IWGP Women's Championship by defeating Kairi Sane at the NJPW Battle in the Valley 2023 PPV.
