Conor McGregor took to Twitter to congratulate Jiri Prochazka after his emphatic victory at UFC 274.
Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka shared the UFC Octagon in the main event of UFC 275 for the light-heavyweight championship.
In what was a slugfest between both the fighters, Prochazka emerged on top with an incredible fifth round submission victory.
Ahead of the fight, McGregor had sent his wishes to the Czech Republican star, and with the result falling in Jiri's lap, the Notorious once again took the time to congratulate the newly crowned champion.
Jiri Prochazka also put an end to Glover Teixeira's six fight win-streak and became the first fighter to submit the Brazilian mixed martial artist.
With the victory, Prochazka became the first UFC Champion from the country of Czech Republic.
Needless to say, Teixeira has called out Prochazka for a rematch. However, it looks like the newly crowned champion is more interested in a showdown with Jan Blachowicz.
After Jan called out Prochazka following the fight, the new UFC light-heavyweight champion proposed Europe as the location for his first title defense.
