The Rock Withdraws His Support From Joe Rogan Amid Spotify Controversy

Joe Rogan hosts a podcast called ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’

For a lot of listeners, it was not a pleasant experience.

Rogan has been accused of providing inaccurate reports about Covid and the vaccines.

Since then, Spotify has been under fire and music artists like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have removed their songs from Spotify in protest.

Joe Rogan put out a video defending himself.

The Rock showed his support to Rogan by saying “Great stuff here brother, Perfectly articulated. Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you."

Shortly after the video post, singer Indie Arie shared a montage of Joe using the N-word profusely -- it is to be noted that Arie also has pulled her songs from Spotify

A fan took to Twitter asking The Rock to rethink his life choices if he wants to support a man like Rogan

The Rock responded saying he was unaware of these racial slurs.

The Rock also said, “I know that to most people, there's no context where a White person is ever allowed to say that, never mind publicly on a podcast, and I agree with that"

Over the weekend Joe Rogan posted a video apologising for his actions in the past.
