Triple H Changed WWE Star’s Name Months Ahead of WrestleMania

The 2023 Women's Royal Rumble match had many surprises, such as Chelsea Green making her WWE return and Michelle McCool coming out of the crowd to compete in UGGs and sweatpants.

There was a surprise for the NXT UK fans too, as one familiar name was a part of the Women's Royal Rumble 2023 match.

Kimberly Benson was born on 6 May 1991. She is a Scottish professional wrestler. She is signed to WWE, where she performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Piper Niven (formerly Doudrop). .

When Benson entered the match Michael Cole on commentary said , "Well look who's here. She strikes like a viper, Piper Niven enters the Royal Rumble match".

Doudrop was last seen performing for WWE back in September. Niven lasted for 27 minutes in the Royal Rumble match and was among the final six members.

Alex McCarthy, from Sportsmail, revealed that Niven got approval to change her name a month before the Rumble because it would be perfect for her reintroduction in WWE.

Niven also revealed how she got an opportunity to discuss her idea with Triple H, she said, "We did have a conversation about it [the name change]. Because here's the thing, before it was Vince's vision and now it's Triple H's vision."

Under Triple H's vision in "NXT UK," Niven was a face of the women's division and . Niven debuted at WWE RAW in June 2021 under the name Doudrop..
