WWE is known for delivering surprises to its audience. Meanwhile, WWE has now started doing the same with its released superstars.
Karrion Kross is one of the first previously released stars by WWE. He got an opportunity to come back to WWE under the regime of Chief Content Officer Triple H.
Kross made his comeback with a bang. He dropped off powerful WWE superstar Drew McIntyre before Scarlett placed an hourglass in front of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
In an interview with San Antonio Express-News, Karrion Kross revealed that he was never prepared for his comeback as he got a call from Triple H two days before the event.
"“He called us up and he said, ‘Do you want to come home?’ And I responded, ‘Well, like, yeah.’ And then he was like, ‘All right. Here is my next question. Can you be here in a day and a half?'" said Kross.
"We had no idea what we were doing until about like, four or five o’clock. When Hunter (Triple H) told us, ‘You’re going to drop Drew by yourself." Kross further added.
“And then he told us ‘You’re gonna drop an hourglass in front of Roman (Reigns).’ And I went, ‘Holy cow.’ So, I knew we were off to a very good start.” Kross exclaimed.
After such a glorious comeback, it will be interesting to see how The Game will utilize Karrion Kross in the future events of WWE.
