WWE veteran Dutch Mantell says Triple H was the reason why WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett quit the WWE.

Jarrett was working for the WWE as the Senior Vice President of live events but he left after Triple H took over.

The TNA founder was replaced in the role by one of Triple H's close friends and fellow DX member, Road Dogg.

"I think Triple H may have been the one to kinda sponsor the ouster of Jeff from WWE," Mantell said. "At the time, Road Dogg, who is Triple H's buddy, needed a job."

"So I think Jeff blames Triple H for going in after the change and saying, 'We need to put Road Dogg in Jeff's spot and we need to release Jeff''' (Credit: Wrestling Shoot interviews, h/t Sportskeeda)

Jarrett has made several WWE appearances as he recently was the special guest referee for the Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam.

Jeff Jarrett recently moved to WWE's rival promotion AEW and is working alongside Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal.

Triple H since taking over has brought in several positive changes. Most fans aren't bothered about Jarrett's firing as the product has improved massively.
