UFC Champion Caught Cheating at UFC 286, Gets Punished

The UFC 286 event has concluded, and it was extremely entertaining. Leon Edwards overcomes Kamaru Usman for the second time, while Justin Gaethje beats Rafael Fiziev.

Edwards successfully defended his welterweight championship by defeating Usman by majority decision and extending his winning run to 12 fights.

The fight took place at the O2 Arena in London, and the judges scored the trilogy bout 48-46, 48-46, and 47-47 in favor of Edwards.

The bout was extremely tight and appeared to be a majority draw. However, after the fight, fans began labeling Edwards a cheater due to his actions in the octagon.

During the fight, Edwards appeared to grab Kamaru’s glove when his back was against the cage, after which the referee in charge, Herb Dean, gave him a warning before continuing the fight.

During the third round, a point was removed from Leon's scorecard when he was spotted grabbing the fence with his left hand to prevent Usman from attempting a possible takedown.

It's also worth mentioning that Kamaru was hit in the crotch by one of Edward's low left kicks, but no points were deducted.

Several fans feel that if it hadn't been for the point deduction, Leon would have won by a huge margin, while others believe Usman lost because Edwards cheated.
