Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones made his heavyweight debut at UFC 285. He won the heavyweight title by defeating top contender Ciryl Gane in the first round.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm has acknowledged that Jon Jones is regarded as one of the best fighters to have ever competed in the sport of mixed martial arts.

In Bones’ last fight against Ciryl Gane, many had doubts about the legend’s ability to adjust to Gane’s movement before their battle, but those doubts were dispelled within 2 minutes of the match.

Bones returned to the cage after a three-year hiatus and delivered an outstanding performance. This left the audience completely awestruck as they never expected him to beat Ciryl so easily.

Holly Holm compared Jon Jones' reputation in sports to that of Tom Brady and LeBron James, two all-star athletes from the NFL and NBA with a desire for victory.

Holly Holm, Jones' close friend and training partner, was an outspoken supporter of the athlete. She said, "He's got that ability to go in there and just win. He's a very, very talented fighter."

She added, "I'm not a Buccaneer fan or a Patriot fan but I'm still a fan of Tom Brady because he goes in there and he likes to win... LeBron James is passing records..."

She also said that when it comes to careers, there are moments when greatness and champions stand out. Anyone can admire Jon's success and the fact that he enters contests with a winning mentality.
