What Happened to Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson is a 4 times champion, he is a five-time NBA All-Star, a two-time All-NBA Third Team honoree and was once named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team and won the 3 point contest in 2016.

However, Klay suffered 2 drastic injuries. In 2019, during the finals against the Toronto Raptors, he went for a layup and landed awkwardly which resulted in a torn ACL in his left knee.

More bad luck followed into Klay's career as he suffered another catastrophic injury in 2020 during practice with his team. He was diagnosed with a torn Achilles Tendon on his right knee.

Klay Thompson is also nearing his prime's end. He is 32 years of age, even though his shooting will come back with more reps but his defense will only start to fade away more and more.
