The bitterness in the relationship between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington stems from the latter's payment issues with Masvida's striking coach Paulino Hernandez.

According to Masvidal, Colby Covington owed $12500 to Paulino Hernandez for preparing him for his UFC fight.
