Will Roger Federer Fail Like Serena Williams on His Tennis Return?

Roger Federer has not been seen on the court since Wimbledon 2021 after becoming the oldest quarter-finalist in the Open Era.

This is the first time since 1998 that Federer has missed playing Wimbledon in his career due to his knee injury.

To everyone's surprise, Federer also hinted that he might soon say goodbye to tennis. He mentioned that he doesn't need tennis and is happy with the small things in his life.

This is also the first time in 25 years of Federer's career that he has been dropped out of the ATP rankings.

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal now have both surpassed Federer in terms of career Grand Slams.

It seems that Federer will still be a part of the Laver Cup in the coming September.

However, former Grand Slam Champion, Adriano Panatta has a warning for the Swiss great.

During an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, he said, "Roger Federer is one of the reasons why I continued to love tennis, there is a time for everything. We have already given up with Serena Williams, I hope not to see a replica."

Will Federer be able to prove that he is still the best in business despite his age?
