Roman Reigns' absence from WWE programming is reflecting on its ratings.

Roman Reigns is currently on a hiatus and should be back in the lead-up to Money in the Bank.

With both the Championship belts around his waist, it won't be wrong to say that Reigns has become synonymous with WWE.

While the recent episode had some exciting moment, including Ronda Rousey's tag-team match, and an incredible ending with Drew McIntyre in charge, the WWE Universe definitely missed not having Roman Reigns on the show.

And this was evident in the TV ratings which averaged lower than last week.

WWE ratings fall below last week's numbers

The most recent episode of SmackDown drew in 1.778 million viewers in overnight ratings.

This was less than last week's rating which stood at 1.997 million viewers. Needless to say, the absence of Roman Reigns had a lot to with it.

Roman Reigns has emerged as one of the most popular Superstars in professional wrestling, and his absence from WWE programming will certainly have a huge impact on his ratings in the coming weeks.
