Former WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman made his return to WWE on this week’s Monday Night Raw.

WWE teased the return of the “Monster Among Men” by showing a flipped car in the parking area during a segment with The Miz and Tommaso Ciampa.

The much-anticipated return was confirmed when Braun’s music hit during a four-way number one contenders match for the WWE tag team championship.

Braun was let go by WWE in June 2021 stating budget cuts as the reason. His release came as a huge shock for fans as he was a regular main eventer during that time.

After his release, he co-founded a new promotion called Control Your Narrative alongside former WWE superstar EC3. CYN received a lot of backlash from the fans due to its weird rules and regulations.

Since Triple H took over, there were plenty of rumours about a potential return for the former Wyatt family member. Hunter even praised Braun in a recent interview that he gave to BT Sports.

Whether WWE will use Braun as a main eventer is something that we will have to wait and see but having someone who is very talented as Braun is a massive addition to their roster.
