WWE Took a Wrong Decision to Keep Ronda Rousey Happy?

By: David Smith

WWE SummerSlam 2022 was a hit and the fans loved every part of it. From Logan Paul's high-flying moves to Brock Lesnar's brute attacks, it was one of the best shows in recent times.

In the SmackDown Women's championship match, Liv Morgan defended her championship against Ronda Rousey.

It was a thrilling match between the two ladies. But, Liv Morgan ended up winning the match in a controversial fashion.

This decision from WWE was criticized by the fans and Ronda Rousey. Fans even showed their disappointment by booing Liv Morgan, who is a baby face in the company.

It's needless to say that WWE did not plan things to end like this. Former WWE manager, Dutch Mantell shared fascinating insights on this controversial topic.

He believes that there was backstage politics involved in the finish of the match. WWE was afraid that Ronda Rousey would say no to taking a beating and a clean loss against Liv Morgan.

It is also speculated that WWE had to show Liv Morgan as the weaker side in the match to keep the former UFC champion happy.

Ronda Rousey is now suspended by WWE for her attack against an official after the match at SummerSlam.
