UFC President Dana White in exciting news for fight fans in the UK revealed that the promotion is planning to put on a show inside the O2 Arena. The fans can expect an official announcement in the coming weeks.
Ever since the pandemic, the promotion has relocated itself to the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and the Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. However, with relaxations and advancements in the fight against the COVID-19 virus, UFC is now functioning like ever before in the US. Be that as it may, even after almost two years, it has been difficult to hold UFC events outside of the US, barring Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.
“I hope in the next couple of weeks. I would like to announce in the next couple of weeks that we are coming to the UK, and we are gonna go to the O2, and put on a great show. We are also working on big things this year for the UK. I am actually excited about the UK. UK is one of the territories that I am really excited about, and I haven’t been this excited about it since 2003, and 2004, you know.”
Earlier, UFC had planned a huge showdown featuring Darren Till in England, however, it was later pulled down. Needless to say, UFC’s return to England is exciting news for all the British fight fans. Additionally, it could open doors to new locations, with Ireland and Canada as two incredible options.

UFC is also looking to open its doors to the African continent, and a return to Brazil also looks likely with Charles Oliveira and Conor McGregor both showing interest in a potential showdown against each other.
Darren Till and Paddy Pimblett to make their UFC return in England?
It goes without saying that UFC will most likely have a star-studded card for its return to England. With British fighters like Leon Edwards, Darren Till, Paddy Pimblett without a confirmed next bout, it won’t be wrong to assume they are most likely to feature on the England card.
Paddy Pimblett has repeatedly expressed his desire to compete in England, and this could well be his time. With some stunning walk-outs and some exciting match-ups, the news of UFC inside O2 Arena couldn’t have come sooner.
