UFC Vegas 68: Main and Preliminary Card preview
The main event for UFC Vegas 68 is the second attempt at booking Derrick Lewis vs Serghei Spivak. They were originally scheduled to face off at UFC Vegas 65. However, an undisclosed illness forced Lewis to pull out of the bout. Both fighters will be looking to retain their status as top heavyweights with a win at Vegas 68.

The co-main event for UFC Vegas 68 will be contested between light heavyweights Da-Un Jung and Devin Clark. They are both unranked as of now but will be looking to break into the UFC’s LHW rankings with a win. There is another heavyweight bout on the card as Marcin Tybura and Blagoy Ivanov lock horns.
The main card will be kicked off by a fight between Yusaku Kinoshita and Adam Fugitt at welterweight. A featherweight bout between Choi Doo-ho and Kyle Nelson will follow the opening fight.
Preliminary Card Preview
There is only one women’s MMA bout on the UFC Vegas 68 card. That match is in the prelims as Ji Yeon Kim takes on Mandy Böhm at flyweight. Interestingly, there are 3 flyweight bouts in the prelims. Tatsuro Taira vs Jesus Aguilar and Choi Seung-guk vs Park Hyun-sung are also at flyweight.
At just 10 pounds heavier, Toshiomi Kazama and the undefeated Rinya Nakamura square off at bantamweight. The lightweight contest between Jeka Saragih and debutant Anshul Jubli will end the prelims card.
Despite the main event falling through once, the UFC has rebooked the fight between Lewis and Spivac. Just goes to show how much faith the UFC has in both men. And judging from their past performances it becomes evident why the UFC trusts them so.
The rest of the card is quite exciting as well. With a lot of overseas talent and lighter weight classes being featured, this event will also be a big opportunity for some fighters to boost their popularity with a dominant win.
