Formerly known as Shorty G, Gable has asserted himself into a respectable position at the company and can be relied upon anytime. The Alpha Academy Leader is married to Kristi Betts and has been sharing the bond for almost 12 years. The duo got married in 2011 after having their first meeting at St. Michael-Albertville High School. Chad was a junior, whereas his other half at the time was studying in his second year of high school. Soon after high school, Gable went on to pursue his passion for performing at the Olympics.
Kristi Betts completed her education at Northern Michigan University and looked to pursue a business career. She currently works for Protiviti, which is a Californian company and is in the Senior Manager role at the company.

Gable and Kristi started their family by welcoming their first child, Clay Betts, back in 2016. The couple were greeted with their second child, Meadow Ann Betts, back in 2018 and the third one, Charles James Betts, in 2019.

Being the father of two daughters and a son, Gable is a loving and caring father in real life. His son is a huge fan of professional wrestling and the WWE. He might follow in his dad’s footsteps and make a career in the same field. Having a huge name and respect in this field of sport, Gable will never force his children to follow the same and would love to see them follow their passion.

During his match with Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, Gable came up short and lost the match. With his family in attendance, his eldest daughter teared up after her dad’s losing effort. The former American Alpha member displayed his emotions and was heartbroken upon seeing his daughter cry. It shows the bond he has with his children and shows what a good dad he is.
