Clash at the Castle, which took place on June 15, 2024, was a highly entertaining event. While the majority of the superstars retained their titles, the event also presented a huge title change. Not to mention, the main event of the night featured a surprise appearance from CM Punk.
Apart from all that, there was something else that caught the attention of the fans. It was the fact that fans witnessed several botches during the Premium Live Event. One noticeable botch occurred during the Women’s Tag Team Championship match between Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.
During the match, Jade went for a springboard but fell inside the squared circle in an unfortunate manner. Another huge botch took place during the main event of the night. During the World Heavyweight Championship match between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre, Priest scarily got his feet tangled in between the ropes.

As soon as those botches took place, fans took to their social media handles to blame Damian and Jade. But now it seems fans shouldn’t blame the WWE superstars for their awful botches at Clash at the Castle, and here’s why.
WWE referee was seen warning AJ Styles about ring ropes before his match
Clash at the Castle 2024 kicked off with the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles. Now a video has come into the spotlight that showcases a WWE referee warning Styles about the ring ropes prior to his match.
It seems the ring ropes were loose during the Clash at the Castle PLE. Thus, all the botches that took place during the event weren’t due to the fault of the wrestlers; they happened because of the loose ring ropes.

Now that the truth about the ring ropes has come into the spotlight, it remains to be seen if Jade Cargill or Damian Priest will have anything to say about the matter.
