WWE Hall of Fame 2022 – Inductees, Date and How to Watch

The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony for the Class of 2022 is set to be headlined by the Undertaker. He won’t be the only WWE superstar to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Game Class of 2022 with wrestling legend Vader and Sharmell also set to receive the honor. The show will take place at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas. 

Who are the inductees?

1. The Undertaker

The Undertaker is biggest household name in the WWE. Anybody who has watched WWE during the 90s would instantly recognize the name, The Undertaker. Phenom’s career in the company lasted for well over 30 years. He has won many accolades in WWE, namely, the Royal Rumble, the Hardcore Championship, World Tag Team titles, and the WWE World Championship.

He had his last match at WrestleMania 35 against AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match, which he won. Undertaker’s mystic and aura is second to none in the history of sports entertainment. The Undertaker is probably the biggest creation of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

2. Vader

Big Van Vader, better known as, Vader, arrived at WWE (WWF back then) in 1996 at WrestleMania 12. He won the match against five other notable WWE legends – Owen hart, Jake Roberts, Yokozuna, Ahmed Johnson and the British Bulldog. He is a 3-time WCW World Champion and held the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship once.

3. Sharmell

Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman, better known as Sharmell, is the wife of WWE Legend Booker T. She debuted in WWE in 2001. She had a memorable run as Queen Sharmell, wife of King Booker T when booker became the self-proclaimed king of the world. Sharmell was also the winner of the Miss Black America pageant in 1991. 

4. The Steiner Brothers

Rick and Scott, the Steiner Brothers were also revealed to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, Class of 2022. The Steiner Brothers were great amateur wrestlers who also had individual and tag team success in pro wrestling. They were the mainstay of tag team wrestling in WCW during the 90s after leaving WWF in 1994 and became the WCW as well as the WWF Tag Team Champions on several occasions.

In addition to these above inductees, Former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard, one half of the Cryme Tyme, has been revealed as this year’s Warrior Award Recipient. Shad Gaspard passed away in 2020 after saving his son from drowning.

How to watch the WWE Hall of Fame 2022?

The WWE Hall of Fame 2022 will air on 1st April 2022 on Peacock in the United States and the rest of the world can watch it on the WWE Network at 8 pm ET and 5.30 AM IST from the American Airline’s Arena at Dallas, Texas. This will be the 23rd edition of the show recognizing the significance and achievements of the superstars from the past in the company.

Hall of Fame this year will have a full crowd for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic. The show will start after the episode of WrestleMania Smackdown.
