The Rock’s legacy as a pro wrestler and a movie star needs no introduction. While in WWE, he created a legacy for himself by becoming one of the most loved superstars on the roster. He is still a hot favorite when it comes to the wrestling faithful. However, Dwayne Johnson has also carved a legacy for himself in Hollywood and is a highly acclaimed entertainer.
Johnson’s wife, Lauren Hashian, is also an entertainer in her own right and is known for mesmerizing listeners. Her father, Sib Hashian, was the drummer in the rock band Boston. The mother of two is a singer, composer, and producer. She launched her career after winning a talent competition at Emerson College in Boston. Since then, she has become a master of her craft, alongside appearances in shows such as RU The Girl?
Hashian has been a constant presence alongside her husband, Dwayne Johnson, since the pair tied the knot in 2019 after being in a relationship since 2007. Both The Rock and Hashian have been tightly knit, with the couple also parenting two children, alongside Johnson’s daughter, Simone Johnson, from his first marriage with Dany Garcia.
Lauren Hashian composed a song for Dwayne Johnson after their wedding
In August 2020, Lauren Hashian shared the news that she would be releasing a track for Dwayne Johnson to mark the occasion of their first wedding anniversary. The singer released the song ‘Step into a Love Like This’ and described it as “the most personal and rewarding song” she ever wrote. She first shared the song on her and Dwayne Johnson’s wedding day.
Speaking about the matter on her Instagram handle, Lauren Hashian stated that composing the song was an honor and also noted that it was a gift to reflect their life and the love they share.

“One year ago today, on our wedding day, August 18, 2019, I was able to share this song with my man I now call my husband, in front of our little girls and our family & friends,” she wrote. “It was an honor and a gift to reflect on our life and love then, and I truly can’t believe the things that we’ve been able to share in our lifetime.”
Hashian has also released songs such as ‘Ride The Wave,’ ‘Bout U,’ and ‘Go Hard.’ During his heyday in WWE, The Rock was also famous for his ‘Rock Concerts,’ where he roasted other stars while playing the guitar. Dwayne Johnson has always been praised for his gift on the mic, and it is remarkable to see him and Hashian complement each other on the matter. It remains to be seen whether the couple will ever release a duet.
