Kevin Nash defends Dwayne Johnson after Joe Rogan demanded he comes out clean and accepts the usage of steroids to attain the physique he has. In the latest episode of his podcast Kliq This, Kevin Nash talked about Rogan’s allegations against the Rock, the peculiarities of PEDs, and his personal PED use.
Rogan stated that The Rock needed to “come clean” about using steroids last week. “The Rock should come clean right now. He should make a video in response to the ‘Liver King’ video. ‘I need to talk to you because The Rock’s been lying.’ There’s not a f*cking chance in hell he’s clean. Not a chance in hell. As big as The Rock is, at 50? He’s so massive and he’s so different than he was when he was 30.”
Now Kevin Nash a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer has come front to defend Dwayne. “Rogan’s latest thing is that he’s come out after Dwayne [Johnson], saying that… The Rock is saying that he doesn’t use PEDs and Rogan is telling [everyone] that it’s bullsh*t and [he is] on PEDs. I just wanna make this point, and this is my point and it’s my opinion.”
Nash further explains his thought about PEDs and his personal experience with it. “Performance Enhancing Drugs are just that. They enhance your performance. Testosterone replacement therapy brings you back the hormonal levels that you [had] in your mid 30’s.”
According to Kevin Nash, The Rock is probably taking the drugs that his doctors advise him to take. “Dwayne is 50. If he’s taking anything, it’s done by a doctor. Yeah, I mean Dwayne looks great but…”
Dwayne Johnson admits to using steroids in the past
Dwayne Johnson confessed to using steroids while playing football at the University of Miami in an interview with MTV to promote his film “Race to the Mountain.” Although Dwayne hasn’t commented on Joe’s allegations, The Rock has admitted to using steroids in the past, back when he was a teenager.
The Rock said, “Once, in college, for a month and a half. I had no idea what I was taking, which is the idiocy of college kids. I thought I was taking steroids. It didn’t help me on the field.”
The great one also expressed his opinions on the use of steroids in professional wrestling, “A lot of guys were doing steroids back then, and some guys still do them. TV audiences aren’t blind. They can look at a wrestler’s physique and tell the difference.”
Although after the Chris Benoit tragedy, WWE has made a strict Wellness-Policy to check their performers and trace for any illegal drugs in their system. But the physique of this WWE Superstar flaunt is obviously built with some pharmaceutical assistance and WWE has never talked about it and neither has any superstar talked about it openly.
