Hulk Hogan has retired from professional wrestling long ago but fans are still excited to hear from him anytime. He was recently seen joining Joe Rogan at ‘The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast’.
At the podcast, Hogan talked about one of the greatest wrestling matches in history, the match between himself and The Rock at WrestleMania 18. He mentioned how Vince McMahon called him and asked him to face Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania 18.
While saying how The Rock challenged him to a match at WrestleMania 18 and hit him with The Rock Bottom, he mentioned how he along with Kevin and Scott grinded The Rock and unloaded on him.
He stated that he brought a toolbox and took out a hammer. As his guys got the Rock hooked, he smashed him with a hammer from behind. However, this shocked Rogan, who questioned, “Is it an actual hammer?”
Hogan went on to say that he could put the hammer between Rogan’s forehead. However, Rogan cut him short and shouted, “Let’s Please Not“. Rogan was shocked and kept asking whether he actually hit him with a hammer and Hogan kept giving a positive response.
Hulk Hogan educated Joe Rogan about pro-wrestling
As Joe Rogan was utterly shocked to learn that Hulk Hogan hit The Rock with an actual hammer, Hogan educated Rogan on pro wrestling. Hogan stated that he’s a professional and can pull it up and went on to say “Believe me I can hit you with a hammer, brother You’d be good, you know“.
Hogan recalled how back then he threw a punch at The Rock and while being scared momentarily, Dwayne claimed that Hogan didn’t even hit him, though he made contact. He said he’s pretty good at this stuff and then went on to narrate the entire incident.
At WrestleMania 18, The Rock defeated ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan in a singles match that lasted for over sixteen minutes and is still remembered to this day. Hogan during his conversation with Rogan stated how The Rock was outstanding inside the ring. He mentioned how he had everything sorted, instinct, timing, and even placement.
Thus, though Hulk Hogan educated Joe Rogan and assured him, he seemed very scared and might never forget what Hogan narrated. What do you think about Hulk Hogan hitting The Rock with a hammer? Do let us know in the comments.
